Happy Humpday Errbody! I’m officially starting to workout regularly again today. Mark my words. I’m getting back into it slowly, but I have a goal to get on a scheduled routine by next Monday. Today, I’ll either be doing yoga + running or a cardio class at the Y, depending on what time I can get done with work.
I wanted to start the new year calm, collected, and focused – but that’s just not going to happen until next week. I don’t know about y’all, but when I don’t have things organized, I get so scatter-brained. So, I’m spending the next 5 days getting myself and my life in order. With work, a wedding, the blog, myself, and spending time with friends and family, I’ve let myself get all jumbled.
First on the list, I’m committing to doing 1 blog post per day. Originally I planned on doing more, but I’ve got to be realistic with my time for the next few months leading up to April 21st!
And we all have the “eat healthy” thing on our lists, so I’m starting off with a healthy lunch today.
Lunch
Black bean veggie burger on top of mixed greens with grape tomatoes, salsa and blue cheese – with a side of steamed-in-a-bag veggies.
Whenever I feel like I’ve fallen off the health train, a meal packed with veggies does the trick to get me back on track.
And I know I’ve fallen behind on posting pictures from the wedding last weekend (remember we went to Callie and Jeffrie’s wedding in Santa Rosa/Grayton Beach, Fl), so here it goes!
This was one of the most fun, intimate, gorgeous weddings I’ve ever been to. The weather was perfect, it was sunny, and everyone was ready to celebrate with 2 of the most awesome people I know. We were overlooking the ocean under a flowing white tent,
the table decorations were elegant beach perfection,
the bloody’s were flowing,
lunch was outstanding,
my besties were with me (minus a few, of course),
John took a picture,
Callie looked gorgeous,
and the dessert was out of this world.
We sent them out with a bang and went to celebrate New Years Eve!
Have a fabulous rest of the day!
xoxo
